Fire Hits Araneta Bus Terminal; Here's What We Know So Far
Fire has reached Task Force Bravo.
(SPOT.ph) Fire razed the old Araneta City bus terminal on Thursday, causing nearby stores to close and its tenants to flee. Fire out is declared more than five hours afer it broke out, Araneta City said.
The fire reached Task Force Bravo as of 5:15 p.m., according to TXTFIRE. This means 16 fire trucks were called to respond to the scene. Fire was under control at 8:19 p.m. and declared fire out at 10:09 p.m.
"For the meantime, operations at the Times Square Park and Beep jeep termials are temporarily suspended until further notice," the Araneta City Management said in a Facebook post.

TXTFIRE Philippines issued an alert as early as 4:47 p.m., around the same time social media users started reporting the fire.
In a video posted by Hanna Raijin at 4:54 p.m., thick clouds of smoke were seen coming out of a building.
Tenants of the shops located at the old bus terminal were evacuated immediately, according to an ABS-CBN News report, citing the building manager.
