Rush to the HP Stores in Trinoma, SM Mall of Asia and Glorietta to get what's left of what every fashionista in town has coveted: the sleek, skinny and scarlet HP Mini 1100featuring New York-based Hongkong designer Vivienne Tam's peony designs inspired by her Spring 2009 collection. Vivienne Tam rose to fame in 1995 when her signature "Mao" collection, reinterpreted from traditional Chinese art, took New York by storm. The mini laptop debuted on the runway of New York Fashion Week late last year.
Called the world's "first digital clutch," the special edition mini PC is less than one inch thin and has a 10.1-inch widescreen LED display, a full-sized keyboard, a built-in webcam and microphone, and a "double happiness" Enter key. It sells here for P27,950, and only 250 units were allotted for the Philippines to keep ownership exclusive. Only 150 units are still available. HP Manila is throwing an exclusive party for the 250 owners in June.
