(SPOT.ph) French brand Bensimon recently brought the casual but stylish lifestyle of Paris to Manila at the launch of their line of chic, colorful sneakers. The brand, which was started 30 years ago by brothers Serge and Yves Bensimon, boasts footwear that is simple, effortless, and natural-they're typically made with 100% cotton and are machine-washable.

Their most iconic style, the tennis shoe, comes in a rainbow of colors and prints, and are meant to embody Bensimon's philosophy of the "perfectly imperfect" that combines comfort and simplicity with the very distinctive and always effortless brand of Parisian elegance. "We aim to challenge the perception of Filipinos about sneakers in the country from a footwear category that is identified with grunge and roughness to one that is sophisticated and stylish," said Ammiel De Leon, brand director for Bensimon Philippines.

The brand was brought to local stores by Terry S.A., which is also behind Havaianas and David and Goliath. Bensimon sneakers will be available at Center of Gravity in Forbes Town, Burgos Circle, and Centris Walk, as well as Shoe Salon in Glorietta 3, Power Plant, Robinsons Ermita, Shangri-La Plaza, and Trinoma.
