CHECK IT OUT: Stylish and Comfortable Ballerina Flats at French Sole
Take a page from the Kate Middleton style book with these stroll-friendly shoes.
(SPOT.ph) Jane Winkworth started creating bespoke ballet flats in 1968. But it wasn’t until 1989, after a bit of dabbling in restoring and painting fine porcelain, when she finally decided to launch French Sole. She started selling at charity fairs and taking orders from her home in Chelsea, and before long, she had opened four stores around London. These days her ballet flats are worn by fans like Kate Middleton (following in the footsteps of Princess Diana), Blake Lively, and Kate Moss.
French Sole opened their first store in Manila on August 29 at Bonifacio High Street in Bonifacio Global City, introducing their brand of ballet flats, created with both style and comfort in mind-we love that the bows are actually adjustable. We pick our three favorite styles (contact French Sole Philippines for prices):
Princess Diana had a pair of the Simple ballet flats in beige and black
The Henrietta has a quarter-inch heel and shows a little bit of toe cleavage
The Classic Ballet is made with soft, unstructured leather
