Sneak Peek: Kenneth Cobonpue's Manila boutique opens October 6
We checked out the celebrated designer’s first Manila showroom.
(SPOT.ph) When Kenneth Cobonpue started studying Industrial Design at New York's Pratt Institute in 1987, he probably had no idea that Brad Pitt would one day be ordering his furniture. The Cebu-based designer has been making his mark around the world since he started at Interior Crafts of the Islands (ICI) in 1996, earning awards from Paris to Japan, and on Sunday, October 6, he finally opens the doors to his eponymous brand KENNETHCOBONPUE's first boutique in Manila.

The showroom features Cobonpue’s famous Bloom and Yoda chairs
Located at the ground floor of Greenbelt Residences’ San Lorenzo Towers, the showroom has two levels of more than 50 of Cobonpue's most well-known designs from the last 15 years, including the Yoda and Bloom chairs. The Eclipse, given as a gift to the Sultan of Brunei, grabs attention at the boutique's entrance. On the second floor, a bed from his Cabaret line is the focal point of a dream bedroom.

The second level also features furniture from the Yin & Yang line
The boutique also features lighting designed by Hive, KENNETHCOBONPUE's sister brand.
