Hamleys opens first store in Manila
The famous British toy store is now in Central Square, Bonifacio Global City
(SPOT.ph) It's a little bit like stepping into Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes-or the closest thing we can get to it without having to get on a plane, at least. Hamleys was established in 1760 by William Hamley, who dreamed of opening "the best toy shop in the world." As the story goes, he stocked the shop with every toy he could find, from rag dolls to tin soldiers. Over 200 years later, Hamleys is a London institution with a Regent Street shop that has seven whole floors packed full of toys.
Hamleys' first Manila outpost opened this past weekend at Central Square in Bonifacio Global City, and while the size is much more modest, it feels almost as magical-you'll be greeted by the sight of awesome toys lining every single shelf, some of which you're free to play with in-store. Get ready to feel like a kid again!

More Barbie dolls than we could count
Hello Kitty gets her own shelf, too
And so does Peppa Pig
Just a fraction of the Lego section
Warning: Hamleys toys are hard to resist
Artsy kids have their own section, too
