Korean Skincare Brand Carenology Is Now in the Philippines

(SPOT.ph) Korean skincare has been widely accessible for quite some time now, to the point that there's really no need to go all the way to Myeong-dong in South Korea to stock up on products for the ever-meticulous 10-step Korean skincare routine. The popularity of Korean sheet masks, serums, and the like continues to rise, with new brands entering the market regularly. The latest Korean skincare brand to cross time zones and make its way to the Philippines? Carenology.

Carenology is officially available in the Philippines
Launched in the Philippines last October 16, Carenology is a Korean skincare brand founded by Dr. Lim Ee Seok, a Korean dermatologist with over six decades of experience in the biz—and who has worked with Korean celebrities. Now, the brand isn't new. If you notice the "95" on the upper right corner of the brand name, this pertains to the brand's birth year which is 1995.
Yes, Carenology has been around for 28 years. Since then, the brand has been known for its Re:Blue collection, which uses the not-so-secret ingredient blue tansy. The flower, found in Morocco, is claimed to nourish the skin, leaving it fresh and hydrated. Fun fact: Carenology says they need around 2,000 of these flowers to produce just 1 gram of the oil.
Luckily, the Re:Blue is one of the two collections now available in the Philippines. The products available locally are the RE:BLUE Night Facial Oil (P1,750/15ml, P3,750/50ml), RE:BLUE Boosting Multi Toner (P1,990/150ml), and the RE:BLUE Facial Cleanser (P1,550/120ml). Don’t be confused by the lack of eye-catching cobalt blue in some products; the RE:BLUE line also includes the RE:BLUE Regenerating Serum (P1,550/15ml, P2,890/50ml) and RE:BLUE Ultra Repair Cream (P2,190/50ml), which both have a sage green tint.
The other Carenology line now available in the Philippines is the Sun Care line. There's the 3-Active Defense (P1,390/45ml) and Toning Light-Up Repair (P1,390/45ml), both sunscreens with SPF 50+ and PA ++++. It's the added benefit that sets these two apart; the former is designed to hydrate and soothe sun-damaged skin, while the latter is for brightening purposes.
During Carenology's official launch last October 16, Dianne Gonzales, the director of Carenology's official domestic distributor MMG Enterprises, announced that they will soon be bringing Carenology's BE:FINE to the Philippines, too. This line focuses on acne-prone skin, offering products to prevent breakouts and promote clear skin.
