Swatches, First Impressions + More: Colourette Just Dropped Their First-Ever Cream Bronzer

You can get it for just P299!

( For those fairly in-the-know about the local beauty industry, it's common knowledge that there isn't a wide range of choices when it comes to bronzing and contour products. Sure, some brands have their own versions of powder bronzers and cream contours, but compared to lippies, blushes, and face powders, there just aren't as many products for sculpting the face or warming up the complexion. So any time a brand drops a new bronzer, it's pretty exciting news in our book. And just in time for summer, Colourette Cosmetics is making our wishes come true with their first-ever cream bronzer, which was officially released on March 27. Say hello to the Coloursnap Beam, a limited-edition multi-use tinted balm that’s perfect for getting that warm summery glow on your face.

Colourette's First-Ever Cream Bronzer Is Here

ICYDK, the Coloursnap has been on Colourette's lineup for some time now. It's a balm-like tint with a dewy finish that can be used on the eyes, lips, and cheeks, with most of the available colors going for peach, pink, or red tones. This time around, they dropped a new version of the balm in a warm brown color complete with a gold (but not glittery!) shimmer that can make your skin look like it's not only freshly tanned, but also glowing from within.

While Colourette already has a known "brontour" product—the notoriously always-sold-out Colourtint in the shade Jordyn—this is the first cream-type balm-based bronzer from the brand. As with other Coloursnap shades, the product can be used all over the face, depending on where you want to apply that warm brown glow. Unlike the Colourtint, the Coloursnap comes in a metal tin where you can dip a brush or sponge into the pan rather than applying a doe-foot applicator straight onto the face or diffusing the tint on your hand before blending on the cheekbones. The Coloursnap formula is made with castor oil, which promises not only seamless blendability, but also a moisturizing feel on the skin and lips.

We got a chance to test the product out in time for its release and we were pretty impressed with the warm bronze tone and the easy-to-blend formula. You can blend it out with a brush, sponge, or fingers—though a brush would be our recommendation—and the result is a mid-toned brown shade, a soft glow, and a freshly tanned, just-laid-in-the-sun-for-an-hour look. Take note that Beam isn't a contour product—meaning you can't use it to carve out your jaw and cheekbones—but instead provides a healthy wash of brown on the perimeters of the face to bring dimension and warmth to the complexion whether bare or with base products already applied.
