Golden Goose Pop-Up Launch at GB5 Was a Starry Affair
The cool looks from the launch proves the shoes go with everything.
(SPOT.ph) Nothing distressed about the celebs who attended Golden Goose’s Floreria Pop-up official launch last Thursday at Greenbelt 5, Makati City. Only their shoes were, as many walked in wearing their own pairs from the luxury Italian sneaker brand known best for footwear with an inherent distressed look.
The party happened inside Golden Goose’s pop-up shop at the Fashion Square of Greenbelt 5–yes the one that looks like a green house slash flower shop surrounded by baskets of blooms outside. Among the celebrities we spotted were Maja Salvador who was with husband Rambo Nuñez, Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde, and the twins Mavy and Cassy Legaspi. Also in the crowd were Rhian Ramos, society columnist Tessa Prieto, models Brent Javier and Ornusa Cadness, artists Jigger Cruz, Dex Fernandez and James Clar, and art broker and partner to actress Beauty Gonzales, Norman Crisologo, who was wearing the latest Golden Goose military style jacket (just like Mavy Legaspi) and a pair of Golden Goose sneakers.
Inside the store, there was a flurry of activity—people fitting shoes, checking out the limited edition pieces, perusing the bags on the shelves and clothes on the racks. But the busiest station was the one upfront: the Co-Creation area where guests can have their shoes jazzed up with a variety of pins, studs and more, with the help of two guys from Golden Goose whose cream jackets shone bright that night, what with their collars studded with crystals. It was a starry night indeed.
