Open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily

Fans of all-day breakfast menus and Chef Laudico’s food may have new reasons to wake early in the mornings. Chef Laudico’s Bfast at the Ayala Triangle Gardens opened this week offering all-day breakfast fare. The new venture of the husband and wife team focuses on serving hearty breakfast meals, veering away from the Pinoy haute cuisine served in their Fort Bonifacio joint, Chef Laudico Bistro Filipino.

"It is a product of our love for breakfast staples and our thrust of doing more natural versions of it. Our items are MSG and preservative-free. We also know that a lot of people love eating breakfast staples anytime of the day, thus our idea of opening a restaurant serving breakfast specialties all day," says Chef Jackie Laudico.

The casual spot is also designed with green sensibilities. "The interiors and furniture are made from recycled wood, coffee sacks and salvaged jeans. We also opted for energy efficient appliances and low VOC (volatile organic compound) finishes. The look is very light and a beautiful morning," she adds.

Expect to find reasonably-priced dishes on the menu with meals starting at P148. Chef Jackie recommends Oven dried Angus Tapa with friend rice and egg and their version of Eggs Benedict dubbed Eggsaymada, made from ensaymada and topped with eggs and Christmas ham. Other choices include salads with oil free dressings, BFast Pasta with Bacon and Egg, and desserts such as Flourless Chocolate Cake and Fresh Fruit Pavlovas. Only on its first week, Chef Laudico is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. "Eventually, we will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.," adds Chef Jackie.
