KC Concepcion travels to Africa for UN World Food Programme mission
Actress-singer KC Concepcion left for Africa the past weekend for her first mission outside the country as an ambassador for the United Nations World Food Programme, reports ABS-CBNNews.com.
Yesterday, she said her group is getting ready to travel to remote areas in Uganda. "(We are) going on a 10-hour road trip. No signal for two days," she said in a text message to The Buzz co-host Charlene Gonzales.
Concepcion added that her group went to an area where residents "drink cows’ blood ’cause the land is so barren, there’s no water." According to ABS-CBNNews.com, she will supposedly stay in Uganda for a week.
