Sharon Cuneta on Hayden Kho allegedly bashing her Marie France ad on Twitter: "Stupid people shouldn’t comment on what is stupid or not!&qu
Asked about Hayden Kho Jr.’s tweet that supposedly bashed her controversial Marie France advertisement, actress Sharon Cuneta said yesterday, "Kung totoo ’yon, ang kapal ng mukha niya! (If it’s true, how dare he tweet that?")
Citing a TV news crew, PEP.ph reports that Kho supposedly Tweeted on January 28, "There’s a billboard ad in Edsa developed by advertisers who think consumers are stupid. Guess." The former cosmetic surgeon did not identify the billboard but it was widely concluded that he was referring to Cuneta’s ad showing her slimmer body, according to PEP.ph.
Cuneta said, "As far as I’m concerned, stupid people shouldn’t comment on what is stupid or not! If I may add to that: Decent people are (the only) people I would like to listen to. Not those who do not know the meaning of decency. And who treat women like they’re nothing! Excuse me!" She added, "You want to start a war with me? You? Fix all your problems first!" Kho was embroiled in a sex tape scandal in 2009.
Today, Kho denied that his tweet was referring to Cuneta’s advertisement. "Wow! I wasn’t referring to the MF billboard. I was referring to a "L**D" that’s supposed to be a LOURDES. Dahan dahan naman po," he Tweeted. "That was quite a wounding tirade from someone I respect. Ironic, really. Very ironic."
