(SPOT.ph) Wind down with a glass of wine and a luscious sweet treat at Good Spirits, a quaint café inside the Makati hotspot The Collective.
Known for its delicious desserts, reasonably-priced wine, and good coffee, this artsy spot is slowly becoming a favorite hangout of many because of its unpretentious, friendly vibe. Savor a bottle of good wine in a relaxed setting, or drool over desserts with their home-baked mini-cakes: Marble Cheesecake (P140) and the Lovely Blue (P135). Better yet, try the cafe’s bestseller called the Kamasutra, a Belgian chocolate cake infused with brandy (P150). Though the wine list isn't that extensive, Good Spirits makes up for it by offering non-commercial bottles that won't break the bank. For P380, you can enjoy a bottle of good Spanish wine. Not into wine? Try the café's signature Bathala brewed coffee instead.
Owned by a group of passionate folks who want to share part of what they love, the café also holds workshops, indie film screenings, and entertaining group discussions. It also functions as a gallery that displays art made by local artists. Here, Thursdays are"Futbolicious"-a night dedicated to all things football.
