Willie Revillame returns with new show Wil Time Bigtime on May 14
(SPOT.ph) TV host Willie Revillame will be back on May 14 with a reformatted show that will replace Willing Willie called Wil Time Bigtime, reports PEP.ph. Valenzuela Councilor Shalani Soledad will also be back as Revillame’s co-host.
According to PEP.ph, the new show will feature new games and the set will be equipped with a LED (light-emitting diode) floor and new software. It will air Mondays to Fridays at 6:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at 5 p.m.
Following the backlash over Willing Willie’s controversial March 12 episode, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) suspended the show earlier this month after it found that the show violated the law against the TV broadcast of "immoral and indecent" programs, reports PEP.ph.
The MTRCB also decided that Willing Willie has to apply for a permit to air on a per-broadcast basis "until the board is convinced (TV5’s) self-regulatory measures had actually been undertaken and implemented." According to PEP.ph, it is unclear whether or not Revillame’s new show will be subjected to this requirement.
