ABS-CBNNews.com reports that composer David Foster-in yesterday’s press conference for "Hit Man Returns: David Foster & Friends"-said he can no longer produce songs for singer Charice Pempengco since he will be moving to Universal Records. Foster and Pempengco both used to be under Warner Music. "Note to God," which is produced by Foster, is one of the songs in Pempengco’s self-titled debut international album.

In any case, Foster said he and Pempengco can still perform together in concert tours. Pempengco, on the other hand, said she will always be there for Foster, who has stood as her mentor. Pempengco’s mom, Racquel, also made it clear that her daughter will continue to work with Foster even after the "Hit Man Returns: David Foster & Friends" concert, which will be staged once more today, October 25, 8 p.m., at the Araneta Coliseum. Aside from Pempengco, Ashanti and Michael Bolton are also among the performers.

Foster first staged his "Hit Man" concert in Manila with Pempengco and other international singers like Natalie Cole and Peter Cetera in 2010.
