ABS-CBNNews.com, citing the statements of Manila North Cemetery officer-in-charge Edgardo Noriega, reports that "fake priests" are roaming around cemeteries. Noriega pointed out that "legitimate priests do not turn their services into a commercial act."

Interaksyon.com quotes Bishop Pedro Arigo, who said that the public could easily identify a real priest from a fake one by asking for his celebret, an identification card issued by the Church.
