Pets in the City: Halloween 2011 Edition
Pet owners suited up their furry friends in their Halloween best at the PAWS’ Scaredy Cats and Dogs event at Eastwood City.
Â
(SPOT.ph) Now on its eighth year, this year’s Philippine Animal Welfare Society’s unique Halloween fundraising event dubbed "Scaredy Cats and Dogs: Year 8" held at Eastwood City had pet-owners and their pets dressing up in their Halloween best.
Â
The crowd favorites include a dachshund named Truffles with owner Mark Vincent Carillo who came as a pair of Harlequins in elaborate pink ensembles and were an easy shoo-in as Best Ghoulish Partners. Pomeranian Jacks went home with the Grand Prize when he dazzled both judges and audience alike as the Grim Reaper holding his scythe and hovering above a mobile graveyard. Native cat, Rue, dressed as Little Red Riding Hood won the Hali-Meow Award or best native cat in costume. Check out our gallery to see the pets show off their fright-night costumes:
