Other sources also revealed that the Kardashian-Humphries relationship "pretty much an arranged marriage right from the start."

The report also said that Kardashian was on "businesswoman mode" right around the time that news about her divorce broke out. She promoted the family’s new clothes store on Twitter. She posted: "Our store #KardashianKhaos is opening tomorrow at 9am at @TheMirageLV We are so excited!! Kardashian Khaos has arrived!" The Daily Mail said Kadashian’s fans may have found the tweet "cold and inappropriate."

However, another Daily Mail report quoted Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner, who said, "(Kim) didn't make a dime and, actually, spent millions of dollars on the wedding. So, it's not something that she thought would ever not be happily ever after." Jenner also denied reports that Kardashian made over $25 million in TV and magazine deals when she wed Humphries on August 20.

In her Celebuzz! blog, Kardashian herself wrote in a post: "I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn't know how to and didn't want to disappoint a lot of people."

As for the money she got for the wedding coverage, Kardashian said, "There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I'm so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding and I'll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation."
