VP Jejomar Binay still the "most trusted" government official, says Pulse Asia survey

Interaksyon.com reports that the latest Pulse Asia survey results released on Tuesday, December 13, show that Vice President Jejomar Binay is still "the country’s most trusted and appreciated government official."

Interaksyon.com reports that the latest Pulse Asia survey results released on Tuesday, December 13, show that Vice President Jejomar Binay is still "the country’s most trusted and appreciated government official."

 

The survey was conducted from November 10 to 23 and had 1,200 respondents. The report revealed: "Binay earned an approval rating of 83 percent, higher than President Benigno Aquino III’s 72 percent.  Binay also earned a high 83 percent trust rating compared to Aquino’s 74 percent."

 

Pulse Asia explained, "[The] prevalent issues during the time of the survey were: the Supreme Court’s issuance of a temporary restraining order (TRO) on the watch list order against former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and former First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo, immigration officials’ preventing the former First Family from leaving the country despite the SC TRO, the arrest of Arroyo on November 18, the murder of Ramgen Revilla, the visit of Hillary Clinton, and the APEC Summit."

 

The report also noted: "In the same survey, Pulse Asia said most Filipinos approve of and trust the  Senate (52 percent and 51 percent, respectively) and the Supreme Court (52 percent and 53 percent, respectively). Forty-five percent of Filipinos also appreciate the work done by the House of Representatives."
