At the tail end of her interview with The Philippine Star columnist Ricky Lo, which was published in the newspaper’s Sunday edition (January 29), Jinkee Pacquiao adressed rumors that her boxer-turned-lawmaker husband Manny Pacquiao had bought her an island.

A report discussing the highlights of the interview was likewise posted on ABS-CBNNews.com. The interview was mostly about Jinkee’s beauty regimen. In it, she had admitted that she has undegone liposuction, but she denied rumors that she’s had a face lift. "Nothing in my face...only parts of my body were touched," she said. She explained that she only had a liposuction once, sometime after her daughter Princess was born.

Then, when Lo asked Jinkee if she had indeed been given an island worth P25 million by her husband, she clarified, "Hindi naman (Not reallty). The TV news was exaggerated. That island is part of Sarangani. We stayed there (during) New Year. We’re renting it from the government, P100,000 a year. We can rent it for 25 years, it depends."
