(SPOT.ph) It was only natural that the founders of Human Nature, sisters Anna Meloto-Wilk and Camille Meloto, picked "an enchanted forest" as the inspiration for their concept store in Quezon City. The brand is known for personal care products and cosmetics that use locally-sourced raw materials.
Fleshed out by designers Mau Adraneda and Joyce Angara, the Human Nature flagship store is a spacious showcase of products that are a perfect fit for the green-minded locavores.
Adraneda and Angara’s amped up their execution of the store’ enchanted forest peg by with a modern Filipino touch. For instance, they used banig as wall cladding, capiz to adorn the cashier’s table, and polished bamboo poles as part of a wall installation. The store’s ceiling is also a showpiece, as it boasts of lights incorporated into makeshift "leaves." To top it all off, the store has a Children’s Corner, where kids can play or read books while grown ups check out the merchandise.
For its flagship outlet, Human Nature also features products from other local manufacturers such as Golden Eggs, Café de Sug, Enchantea, Theo & Philo Chocolates, Rattan Man, Jacinto & Lirio, Red Carpet, Salabatea, Blue Bamboo, and others. Filbambu products (food items containing bamboo) are also among the store’s added offerings.
