(SPOT.ph) Sneakerheads, it looks like Christmas is arriving a few days early. What are we talking about, you ask? Popular sneaker shop Foot Locker has finally arrived on our shores—their biggest Southeast Asian outpost, no less. Yep, gone are the days we'd have to go online or have a friend buy our sneaks abroad. Ever since you heard the news a few months ago, we know you've been counting down the days, nay, the hours until you finally get your chance to shop at their physical store. And while it officially opens on December 16 at Glorietta 3, Makati, allow us to tempt your eyes and your wallets further with a sneak peek courtesy of the SPOT.ph team.

By their biggest outpost, we mean 1,435 square meters of retail space, baby. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by rows and rows, a display here and a display there, of sneakers and apparel. The space itself is pretty straightforward; a massive rectangular that you can take many different paths in, meaning you're bound to gravitate towards whatever piques your interest, be it the wall of flashy and colorful kicks or the rows of more subdued low-key pairs. Foot Locker doesn't dissapoint with their first brick and mortar space in the country, that's for sure.Â
Aside from countless shelves chock full of kicks from our favorite brands such as Nike, New Balance, and Converse, among others (a sneakerhead’s wonderland, if we say so ourselves), there’s a lounge area—you know, to rest your weary feet after moving around such a big area, or in case you need to take a moment amid all the decisions you and your wallet are up against; a space dedicated for your kids; and, in a basketball-loving country, an area that puts the spotlight on the sport.

ICYMI, you can line up as early as 5 a.m. at Glorietta’s ground floor entrance on opening day. We know how confusing the mall can be so just to be clear, it’s in the area beside the Mercury Drug store. The queuing—which is one queue number per person—will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Now BRB while we set our alarms.Â
