Confirmed: That Uniqlo Bag Has Been Crowned the Hottest Product Globally

Uniqlo and its viral bag tops The Lyst Index's hottest products list.

ICYDK, The Lyst Index "is a quarterly ranking of fashion's hottest brands and products," with the Lyst being "a fashion technology company and a premium shopping app used by more than 200 million people each year." That said, we all know the reason this bag not only made it to, but topped, the list. 

The bag perfectly combines the form, functionality, and accessibility that the popular Japanese lifewear brand is known for. From the handy size that fits all your essentials a la Mary Poppins (yes, with interior pockets, too); the polyester material and a water-repellent finish; the unique empanada shape in various bright and fun hues; the adjustable strap that allows you to wear it on your shoulder or over your body—and the relatively cheap price at P790 (or $19.90) is the cherry on top of this sundae. Unless of course, you cop it in every available color. Take note that it's usually pricier items on the chart, and this little bag is the cheapest item thus far, proving just how impactful it is.

According to Lyst, the bag generated over 59 million views on the platform and was sold out "multiple times across multiple colorways." The hashtag #uniqlobag, on the other hand, garnered over 63.3 million views on TikTok, according to CNA Lifestyle.

Next to the bag on the list are the Rick Owens Kriester Sunglasses, Skims Sculpt Bodysuit, and MSCHF Big Red Boots, among others. Lyst filters more than eight million items by volume of social media as well as searches, page views, interactions, and sales in their application to find the "world's hottest products."
