Forget the AC: Keep Your Bed Cool With These Nifty IKEA Beddings

(SPOT.ph) Living in the Philippines has its perks. You've got all the beaches, provinces, and food to explore, and the suns almost always out. While that means we can basically spend countless weekends soaking up the rays, it also means we're more or less forced to take our afternoon siesta in unbearable heat lest we face mom's wrath for turning on the AC. But what if there was a nifty product that could help keep your bed cool even during the afternoon snooze? No, we're not talking about electric fans, we're talking about the Rosenvial line of IKEA.

Keep cool with these products from Ikea:

While not exactly a new release, the Rosenvial product line is one of those "you thought you didn't need it, but apparently you do" type of things, considering they're mattress and pillow protectors. Yep, you read that right—protectors.

Each protector has tiny wax-infused fibers in the filling which help regulate body temperature. Its upper fabric, a.k.a. one side of the entire thing, gives off a cooling sensation whenever you're feeling warm. Simply insert your pillow into the protector or lay the mattress version over your actual mattress, and voila, instant comfort the moment you lay down.

The pillow protector version of Rosenvial retails for P990, definitely a cheaper alternative to the cooling memory foam pillow Klubbsporre that's worth P2,190. On the other hand, the mattress protector version starts at P2,490 and comes in a variety of sizes depending on your mattress.

The Rosenvial product line is available at IKEA Pasay and online.
