This Rockwell Bathroom Might Just Be the Best We've Seen

(SPOT.ph) Going to a restroom in a mall is always an experience. Using a public toilet pretty much always is, on some level—and when you're a usual at Metro Manila malls, you know what we mean. They're simply not made equal.

Like you, we're always on the hunt for a nice place to take a dump when we're out. From privacy and quiet to ample counterspace and lighting, or for the love of all that is good and holy, a working bidet, the list of requirements can get pretty exhaustive. With public bathrooms at a mall, you're lucky if you can cross off at least two from the list. So here's a message to all Rockwell girlies and titas of any gender out there: we stumbled upon a gem that beats pretty much all other restrooms we've seen in a mall. Note, though, that it isn't always open as it's attached to The Fifth, the events space at, you guessed it, R5 of the Power Plant Mall.

The Fifth at Rockwell restrooms are hard to beat

Nope, that isn't a restroom of a hotel in Rockwell, that's over at The Power Plant Mall. This gorgeous space has all the fancy finishings of a luxury stay. Who'd have thought a public restroom with floor-to-ceiling glass walls exists? The bidets were already more than enough to have us swooning, but they added in an epic space for pictures, too. Trust us, the natural light streaming in during golden hour beats any filter you might use. 

The Men's room wasn't left out either. We were allowed in as the restrooms weren't open for public use when we visited, we swear. They've got similar views and stunning finishes, just in a different color scheme, but we're sure the OOTD pics will look just as good. Even the urinals were almost pretty. And as for the bidets? That's a check, too.

We chatted with Harley Gabiota, a Tenants Engineer for Rockwell retail, and they do regular checks of the facilities, specifically making sure the bidets and the sensor faucets and other gadgets are in working order. The restroom was made alongside The Fifth events hall in 2018,  he tells us, explaining that this level of gorgeousness was always in the plans. And it paid off, it seems, as he says he notices that during events, there will always be people taking selfies in the restrooms. There might also be times they open these restrooms for churchgoers on weekends, but it's not a guarantee.

Located by the entry hall to The Fifth and a stone's throw away from the chapel, these restrooms are only officially open to the public whenever there's an event, said Gabiota. Thankfully, there are a lot of bazaars scheduled leading up to Christmas so you can mark your calendars. Go gift hunting, and don't forget to take an epic mirror selfie while you're at it.
