(SPOT.ph) Two months ago, we spotted a board-up for a Flying Tiger Copenhagen store in the Metro and let all you stationery lovers in on where it would be (not so spoiler alert: Makati). Time flies as the year draws to a close. So now, we're happy to let you know that the Danish lifestyle store has finally opened up shop in the Philippines over at Glorietta, right in time for Christmas.

Tigers don’t fly, but entering the whimsical shop sure makes it feel like they could. Home to a variety of knick-knacks, quirky goodies, and homeware you can’t help but reach for, Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s Manila branch is located on the first floor of Glorietta 4 at Makati City. Conveniently located near the entrance and the concierge, there’s no way you could miss it especially with the enticing storefront packed with items straight out of childhood dreams and Pinterest boards.
The Philippines takes Christmas seriously and so does Flying Tiger with its assortment of holiday paraphernalia. They’ve got everything from decor and streamers, to gift-wrapping essentials and even a wall lined floor to ceiling with Yuletide mugs. Do we need a dozen Christmas mugs? No, but we do want them. If you exit the store with at least six in a bag, we won’t judge. You can easily say they’re additional gifts for your mom, dad, sibling, workmate, or even significant other. For your reference, they’re P300 each.

It’s glitter galore with the ornaments on another wall. There are classics like peppermint candy canes, but our hearts belong to the more niche ones like the sprinkled croissant, the rainbow, and even the shrimp nigiri sushi. The baubles are priced at P180 each.
New Year’s follows immediately after Christmas and you’ll be happy to know Flying Tiger also has planners and stationery to help you get your life together for the next 12 months. Available in pretty pastel shades and adorable prints in a variety of sizes and formats, the planners range from as low as P180 for a small one or up to P600 for the bigger, thicker styles. Some of them are fuss-free, while some are meant for study plans, come with pens, or have monthly tabs to section out your year.
Stationery fiends and craft lovers can delight in the store’s selection of paper, pens, arts and crafts materials, and artist tools. If you’re after improving or beautifying your space, there’s plenty of homeware goods, small decor, baskets, and organizers to get you started. Tapes and smaller office supplies start at P50, going up to P700 for a three-year diary.
