If you weren't so lucky at Gashapon Bandai's first branch at MITSUKOSHI Mall—or perhaps the Gashapon machines you wanted were emptied out before you got to test your luck, then maybe, just maybe, you'll be luckier at the second Gashapon Bandai branch that's soon to open a second branch at Greenhills Mall on March 15.

What you need to know about Gashapon Bandai's second store in Metro Manila:
In a Facebook post by GBO (Gashapon Bandai Official) Philippines, they announced they're expanding their reach with the opening of their second branch inside Greenhills Mall on March 15, Friday. According to the global Gashapon Facebook page, like the MITSUKOSHI branch, there will be 300 faces installed in the new store.
Just in case it hasn't sunk in yet: Yup, the opening of the second Gashapon Bandai branch is happening on a payday Friday. If you've ever tried Gashapon, then you know your wallet is not safe in this game of pure luck.
But, if you were to ask us, it's all part of the fun—from the sound emitted upon twisting the knob, opening the capsule, and hoping against all odds that you got the character or design you've manifested hard for. And if you don't get what you want, you can also try again, and again, and again.
If the same pricing is used at the new Gashapon Bandai branch in Greenhills, each token is priced at P65. Depending on which design you want, some machines need at least two tokens, while some require as many as five. Do make a mental note to check all the designs available before spending your tokens away.
Previous Gashapon collections included capsules from animes such as Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen (Hidden Inventory), One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Card Captor Sakura, and Spy x Family. Hopefully, these will all be present at the new branch— including the Flat Gashapon that they're teasing about on social media. This new type of Gashapon "produces flat items up to A4 size" such as coasters, posters, stickers, clear files, and big rubbers.
Gashapon Bandai will open at Unit No. L365, 3F, Phase 1, Greenhills Mall, Barangay Greenhills, San Juan City. Open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Sunday. For more information, check out GBO Philippines' Facebook page.
