FIRST LOOK: Space of BTS Is Back in Metro Manila

(SPOT.ph) ARMYs, we know you'll take any chance to see the boys of BTS live, along with the opportunity to purchase their merch. The Space of BTS is back in Metro Manila for round two, bringing country-exclusive pieces, past merch drops, and an overall exciting shopping experience. The j-hope concert in Manila is also just a few weeks away, and we spotted a special corner in the store housing items from the tour merch line.

SPOT.ph got a peek oft the pop-up and we're here to show you around. Queues are to be expected, so get ready to wake up early, bring a snack, and prepare a list of back-up items to buy in case what you want is out of stock.

Here's a look at round two the Space of BTS in Metro Manila

Like the previous pop-up, there are country-exclusive merch designed in collaboration with local brands Rags2Riches and Sunnies Flask. Space of BTS remains a consolidaiton of the group's past eras, so you're sure to spot merch from past tours, previous comebacks, and artist-made collection pieces that were once out of reach to fans.

And of course, with j-hope slated to come in Manila in just a few weeks, it's only right to dedicate a space just for his tour merch. We're talking full display complete with a backdrop and barricade for all the selfies and photos.

Philippines-exclusive items at the Space of BTS in Metro Manila

For round two, Rags2Riches launched a new variation of their Buslo Micro Bag (P5,000) with a longer strap you can hook over your shoulder, and an even longer adjustable strap if you want to wear it like a sling. They also have a bigger Boston Bag (P9,800) inspired by V's brown one from the Artist-Made Collection, also with a longer strap. And if you missed it the last time, the Wonton Bag Charm (P950) and Puso Micro Bag (P4,000) are back.

Each R2R bag is handwoven by Filipino artists in the group's signature purple, and each bag or accessory comes with a card signed by the artisan who crafted it. The last batch had hints of green, but this time it's all in shades of purple for maximum borahae.

Sunnies Flask also has tumblers for this round; The Robo Flask (P2,795) in purple and beige. The main difference of this one from last time's collection is the lid, which sports a straw for easier sipping and a handle so you can tote it around with ease. It's also 20% lighter thanks to Featherlight Technology, so it won't be too heavy in your bag or in your hand. Each tumbler purchase comes with a free photocard holder keychain and sticker pack.

These flasks are available only at the Space of BTS, but Sunnies can engrave the flask for you for free—just bring over your BTS flask after purchase to any Sunnies branch and they can get the job done. There's a 15-character limit, so keep that in mind when you're at the store.

Other country-exclusive items include the Keychain (P1,000), the White Shirt with all of the BTS members' drawings (P2,500), the Space of BTS Shirt (P2,500) in Purple and Black, and the Socks (P650).

There's also Custom Keyring bar where you can create your own keyring with acrylic charms. Choose the charms you like from the bar and take them to the counter for counting. You'll get a free black or white loop for every three charms you purchase. Each customer is entitled to only a maximum of five free loop charm holders, with colors subject to availability. If you're getting just one charm, you'll get a free small steel ring so you can hang it on bags and zippers.

The loop holder is P30 each and the small steel ring is P10 each if you want to buy more. The Hand Writing Charms are P160 each (these were drawn by the BTS members and there are 28 in total!), while the Logo Charms (8 types in total) are P170 each. Pop-Up Logo Charms (four types in total) are also P170 each, while the Instruments (five types in total) and Songs Charms (14 types in total) are P180 each.

Everything from the Hope On The Stage Merch line is available at the pop-up, except the acorn, which is exclusive to certain stops only. The Cowichan Cardigan (P13,500) is the most coveted piece from the line, along with the Chipmunk Plush Keyring (P1,500).

Queueing system and photobooth at the Space of BTS in Metro Manila Pop-Up

Now that we've told you all about the merch, let's talk about the line and everything else in between. A group of 10 people are allowed to enter per batch. Before you head in, make a checklist of everything you want to get because you might be short on time once you're in there. The pop-up accepts cash, GCash, and debit and credit cards, so you don't have to worry about payment methods when you're at the counter.

Stocks are limited, especially for the country-exclusive merch.

Don't forget to snap some pics alone or with friends at the photo booth, which offers unique frames limited to the pop-up. There are photos with one photo, two photos, and one with a grid if you want several poses. If you're alone, the solo and 4-grid are best, and if you're a group, the solo and 2-shot are recommended. Each print is P300 and comes with a QR code you can scan to get your digital copy of the photo and a moving image of your session at the photo booth.

There are familiar props you've seen on BTS members like the sunflower headdress, shades, a bunny hat, and a purple flower crown. Plan your poses ahead of time, because each shot is only about five seconds long, with filter selection at 10 seconds long. There are no retakes, so you only have one shot to make it count.
