These sneakers worn and signed by a basketball legend are up for auction
Can you guess what the starting bid is?
(SPOT.ph) There was once a lucky ball boy who was gifted a pair of worn-in and signed sneakers by living basketball legend Michael Jordan after the gold medal ceremony of the 1984 Olympic Games—and these kicks are now up for auction.
These are Converse High-Tops in a white and blue colorway with Michael Jordan's signature running along the side of the upper, and yes, they have been authenticated. The starting bid?US $50,000. A fellow ball boy named Khalid Ali also auctioned off a pair of Nikes that Michael Jordan wore during his rookie season and fetched US $71,000. Do you think these high-tops will beat that amount?
