GoPro is releasing a new action camera and it's...just a lens

Now it's even smaller!

( Just when you thought action cameras couldn't get any smaller, GoPro has unveiled their newest addition to the Hero4 cameras—the GoPro Hero4 Session. And, well, it looks like a standard Hero action camera minus everything around the lens. Can you picture it? Yup, it's really just a cube of lens! Check it out:

The Hero Session is half the size of Hero4 Black and Silver, and it's almost half the weight, too. It's designed to be waterproof up to 33 feet and is compatible with all the mounts that the GoPro is known for. Also, it only has one shutter button. The Hero Session comes with three mounts: the Low-Profile Frame, the Standard Frame, and the Ball Joint Buckle. You can hold the camera in any angle and any orientation because it has auto image rotation, and it uses a Micro SD Card to store the photos and videos.

It will be available internationally starting July 12, and will retail for $400 (roughly P18,000).
