Forgot to put on deodorant? This product will save you!
And you probably already have it in your bag!
(SPOT.ph) Picture this: You wake up in the morning, take a nice warm shower, put together a cute outfit, and you kickstart your day. Come mid-afternoon, you start feeling moist in...the wrong places. Followed by an unpleasant smell. You realize, with horror, that you accidentally skipped the deo. Your entire life flashes before your eyes and you don't know what to do—and you have an important meeting in five minutes!
The ideal thing to do is to head to the nearest convenience store and get yourself one of those tiny roll-ons. But in times of emergency, the only thing you'll need to calm your pits (pun intended) is probably already in your bag: hand sanitizer!
Just dab a bit of hand sanitizer onto your underarms! Byrdie.com beauty editor Alina Gonzalez shares that this hack actually worked for her. It makes sense, though. The alcohol takes care of the unwanted moisture and the anti-bacterial agent in hand sanitizers kills the odor (body odor is caused by the interaction of sweat and bacteria).
But of course, the best thing to do is to never forget to put on deodorant (and maybe have a small bottle in your office desk or bag, just in case!). Hand sanitizers cannot and shouldn't be used as a substitute for your regular deodorant but it does take care of the stinky ish in a jiffy!
