These are the things models do to get flawless skin
Stop washing your face all the time!
(SPOT.ph) We all want that flawless, glowing skin we always see on models (even when they're off the runway!). You might think that to achieve perfect skin, you need to go through a lot of treatment and apply lots of expensive skincare products—but you've never been more wrong.
Popsugar asked esthetician Ildi Pekas what her clients (like Miranda Kerr and Lindsay Ellington, no less) use on their skin to make it look photoshopped IRL...and she shared that it's not what they use, it's what they do.
Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner (P299)
One of the secrets is to stop washing your face too frequently as it strips your skin of its natural oils which leads to overproduction of sebum...a.k.a. breakouts. Pekar suggests cleansing the face only at night time and using toner instead of face wash in the morning. This way, it will cleanse your skin gently and refresh your complexion instantly. "It will balance your skin's pH so it is not too oily and not dry."
And they do other healthy things, like lessening their sugar intake (it can cause breakouts!), drinking lots of water, and exercising regularly. "When you exercise, blood and nutrients rush to the surface of your skin, stimulating it and keeping your appearance young and healthy," she shares. Great skin sounds like good motivation to start working out regularly, guys!
