You'll go gaga over these Gugu handwoven backpacks
They're locally made, too!
(SPOT.ph) There's nothing like the feeling of stumbling upon a cool local brand that offers unique products that are both sustainable and functional—and Gugu is just that. Short for "Gugurang" which refers to a mythical Bicolano god who is said to be the protector of the Mayon Volcano, the brand creates backpacks that are handwoven by a community at the foot of Mount Mayon.
Gugu backpacks are made with either signature handwoven Jute or upcycled cotton fabric which feature organic leather accents. They also come in different colors and color combinations! We love how it's not only sustainable and functional—they designs are up-to-date, too.
