These handcrafted organizers and cases are designed to look better with time
HUEVO Leather makes MacBook cases, passport holders, and more.
(SPOT.ph) There's a certain charm to anything leather—especially the kind that's time-worn. It becomes softer and develops a beautiful patina that all leather enthusiasts adore. Homegrown brand HUEVO Leather creates leather goods that are perfect for travelers, people on the go, or anyone who wants to get organized.
HUEVO Leather makes use of imported vegetable-tanned leather for their products, which are all handcrafted and hand-stitched in the Philippines. Vegetable-tanned leather makes use of tannic acids naturally found in some plants or fruits, giving it a longer lifespan compared to chemically treated leather. They make everything by hand, from dyeing to painting to cutting to burnishing, so you can say that all their products are made with lots and lots of love.

Wire Burrito (P1,200)
Passport Holders (P1,800 to P2,000)
MacBook Sleeve (P2,500)
Co-owner Geia Lopez tells us that their bestsellers include the Wire Burrito and the Passport Holder—which they get a lot of bulk orders for, for weddings and other special events. Another bestseller is their sleek MacBook sleeves.
Card Sleeve (P1,000)
Leather Wallet (P2,500)
According to Geia, male customers particularly love HUEVO's Card Sleeves and Wallets. "Ask any guy and they'll talk about how annoying it is to have chipped leather or stitches unraveling and the general wear and tear of wallets. There's not a lot of high-quality leather wallets out in market. They tend to geek out on the idea of our wallets and card cases having a nice patina over time and over use, and some even show us their item a year after to say they end up liking it more over time," she shares.
You have the option to have your initials engraved on your chosen leather product for an additional P200. It's a great gift idea for your loved ones who love to travel!
