10 Cool Barbershops in Metro Manila

Where to go for your next cut

( Barbershops are back in a big way. More and more are popping up and it’s easy to see why. First, they’re no longer the in-and-out affairs they once were. Second, what you see on the service menu isn’t always what you get—and we mean that in a good way because you usually get a bit more. Coffee or a beer and a barber’s massage are usual perks! And third, the fade haircut is a high-maintenance beast that needs precision care. Below, we round up some of the barbershops you should try for your next cut.

The Village Barber and Supply Shop

The Village Barber is your neighborhood barber that got a huge upgrade. Their branches are outfitted in polished cement, copper tubes, and natural wood with lots of sunlight coming through the large windows. On top of that, they also sell vinyls, books, and other specialty products (hence the supply shop tag). That means cold brew coffee if you’re by The Grove and bottled cocktails if you’re in BGC. Signature services include the Fonzie (P950), a cooling scalp treatment. By the way, the magazine selection is ace!

Other services: Haircut (P350), Shave (P450), Massage (P450), Hungover Treatment (P750)
