(SPOT.ph) It's been over a year and a half since we first found out about IKEA finally opening a store in Manila. Someone even spotted what looked like an IKEA warehouse (false alarm), but this time, it looks like we finally know where the Swedish furniture giant is finally going to be.

According to a Facebook note published by Philippine STAR, the first IKEA store in the country will open at Mall of Asia—specifically between the SMX Convention and the MOA Arena. It also looks like there are plans to open more IKEA stores in the country! "According to the horse's mouth [sic], IKEA has struck a long-term lease agreement with the SM Group, with a second store to be opened beside SM Fairview to serve Quezon City and the northern bedroom communities," the note says.

The note reads like everything was heard from the grapevine, so our eyes and ears are peeled for an official announcement from the SM Group and IKEA Philippines. For now, allow us to daydream about their famous meatballs and hotdogs. Drooool!
