This Secondhand Bookstore Lets You Go on a Blind Date with a Book
Bookworms, you might want to check this out!
(SPOT.ph) You've probably heard of the metaphor "Don't judge a book by its cover" a bajillion times...but at this charming little bookstore, the age-old adage is taken quite literally.
Biblio, a secondhand bookstore, has a special space in their quaint stores where you'll find books individually hand-wrapped in brown paper and carefully secured with jute twine. What makes each item special is the handwritten note that gives clues about what kind of story to expect and what emotions you'll feel from reading the book. The Blind Date With a Book project encourages bookworms to pick up a book based on the kind of story they want to read, not how eye-catching (or minimalist) the cover looks.
