Ray-Ban Gives Their Classic Pairs a Badass Upgrade for Their New Collection
These will make you look effortlessly cool!
(SPOT.ph) Ray-Ban has come a long, long way since its inception...81 years, to be exact. You've seen the eyewear brand evolve through the years—mostly thanks to its exposure in pop culture (i.e. Tom Cruise rocking the aviators in Top Gun; the Wayfarers on Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's). And it looks like the key to staying at the top of the game is to adapt while staying true to your roots—and that's exactly what Ray-Ban does for their latest collection: the #IconsReinvented.
The collection features Ray-Ban's popular sunglasses models that are given a modern twist. The General gets a "Blaze" treatment where it has a modern flat-lens-over-frame style, while the Aviator and the Round get an "Evolve" update, featuring lenses that adapt to any light exposure. Meanwhile, Ray-Ban combines The Hexagonal and The General for a badass new style, The Marshal. Another addition to Ray-Ban's eyewear selection is The Colonel—a different take on The General, featuring squarer lenses.Â
