(SPOT.ph) Shopping in Metro Manila is practically synonymous with going to the mall, and local retailers have made it an experience in itself with sleek shopping centers and eye-catching windows. But sometimes you just want to get in, get what you need, and get out—no navigating crowds or getting tempted to buy other things along the way. Roadside stores are a rare sighting in the Metro as foot traffic hotspots tend to fill up with stores and kiosks left and right, but this trend may soon change: Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo is opening what they call their first roadside store in the Philippines.
Set to open later in 2019, the standalone building will be located at Westgate Alabang, Muntinlupa City. It's the first of its kind in the Philippines, and the second in Southeast Asia. Situated right at the heart of the neighborhood, nearby residents will easily be able to enter the store through major roads to allow for easy and convienent access. And before you ask, yes, it will have its own parking area. Uniqlo is known for its practical-but-stylish pieces that work for a variety of occasions, so next time you need to quickly grab something last-minute, you can drop by, get what you need, and be done in an instant!
Here's a render of  what the store will look like:

Who's excited for the opening? We know we are!
