(SPOT.ph) Hello Kitty fans, we recently showed you this Sanrio-themed streetwear collection as well as these adorable purses inspired by the beloved Japanese character. And if you haven't heard, Kitty's even hitting the big screen real soon. While we still see the Sanrio character pretty much everywhere these days, did you know that she's actually nearly five decades old? She was created by Japanese designer Yuko Shimizu in 1974 and she's been stealing our hearts ever since! And it looks like she's not slowing down anytime soon: In celebration of Hello Kitty's 45th birthday this year, Canadian bag brand Herschel just released their latest collaboration with her. Check out their Hello Kitty 45th Anniversary Collection!
The collection includes backpacks, duffle bags, belt bags, and luggage, each in minimalist-meets-kawaii designs available in red, white, black, and pale mauve colorways. You might want to grab one of each kind of bag so you've got a full matchy set for your next big vacation! Hello Kitty's ubiquitous face is embroidered on the front of each bag and if you take a closer look, you'll see that her face is also stamped all over. Plus, each one has Kitty's adorable bow sitting on the upper right corner!
