This Nike Cortez May or May Not Take You to the Upside Down

You can literally burn off parts of the shoe to reveal hidden details!

(SPOT.ph) It looks like Stranger Things is taking over our world faster than Eleven wolfs down her Eggos, with all the Stranger Things collaborations coming out left and right. The latest one to catch our eye is Nike's upcoming collection that's nothing like we've ever seen before. The "Upside Down" collection takes its cues from the dark and twisted Upside Down.

The updated Nike Cortez looks like it came straight out of the infamous Hawkins portal. The classic runner has been given a, for lack of better word, strange update because it's a shoe which they're literally asking you to set on fire—just a bit, though—to reveal a hidden Upside Down layer! Twisted, right?

Check out all the cool details and references below:

There are two other pairs in the collection that will also make you want to play with fire: the Nike Blazer Mid and the Nike Tailwind.

These cool designs are set for an August 13 release date in selected stores abroad, retailing at around U.S. $120 (around P6,300). We're also hoping for the shoes to hit our shores, but if you just can't wait, then you can still watch for them online
