This Is Not a Drill: You Can Now Design Your Own Uniqlo T-Shirt
Time to make the graphic tee of your dreams!
(SPOT.ph) By now, you've probably seen (and copped) at least a few of Uniqlo's graphic tees, which feature cool illustrations of pop culture figures like Marvel super heroes, Mickey Mouse, Hello Kitty, and more. But have you ever wanted to design your own? Well, here's your chance to let the artist in you run wild: Uniqlo Philippines is officially launching UTme! at the Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store, Glorietta 5, Makati City. UTme! is an on-demand T-shirt printing service that lets you play stylist and design your own dream tees!
Here's how it works: Simply go to the UTme! counter and draw a photo on their in-store tablet. You can spice up your illustration with cute details like typography, images, stickers, and digital paintbrushes. After that, you shake the tablet to finalize your design and they'll print out your masterpiece on a fresh cotton tee. Each personalized UTme! shirt is priced at P990.
And just in case you need some design inspiration, Uniqlo celebrated the launch of UTme! by teaming up with several local artists to create the The Art of the Philippines Collection. The line of tees includes 10 original designs all made with UTme!—the unique drawings are proof that the sky's the limit when you're designing your own tee at the store!
