Lacoste Puts a Heart Around the Croc as a Show of Support for Volunteers
All proceeds will be donated to their chosen beneficiary.
(SPOT.ph) You might remember Lacoste swapping their famous logo with endangered species a few years back. This time around, the French clothing brand puts a heart around the croc as a show of support and solidarity for volunteers who are helping combat the pandemic. Say hello to the limited-edition Lacoste L12.12 Merci Polo.
"Since 1933, the Crocodile has embodied Lacoste's values in an exact spot: your heart. Today, it is surrounded by a heart stitched in recognition of all the volunteers who work every day across the world," they write on their website. The design was created by Louise Trotter, Lacoste's creative director since 2019. The limited-edition polo aims to show the brand's commitment to those who have volunteered to fight the crisis. Each shirt is priced at P7,250 and all proceeds will go to the Lacoste Fund which supports the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
