(SPOT.ph) As the number of COVID-19 positive individuals continues to rise in the Philippines (we're now at 44,454 cases), it's getting riskier and riskier to leave your home. Vet visits also put you in danger of getting close to presymptomatic or asymptomatic patients. In an effort to keep people from having to go out, the local government of Taguig launched Vet Telemedicine for the benefit of pet owners in their city.
This virtual service provides free veterinary consultations via landline or mobile. Residents of Taguig City can call (02) 8697-1969 or 0977-690-9069 from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for consults.
"Just as we value our own physical health, the health of our fur babies is just as important," the Taguig local government said in an online post.
