Take Note: Here's a List of Malls and Their New Operating Hours

Including the services and stores that will remain open.

(SPOT.ph) Metro Manila as well as Laguna, Rizal, Cavite, and Bulacan are back under modified enhanced community quarantine beginning today, August 4 until August 18. In case you were planning to run some errands, malls have adjusted their operating hours to comply with the stricter quarantine guidelines—this includes shortened mall hours, no dine-ins, and only essential services like supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, et cetera.

Malls like SM Supermalls, Ayala Malls, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, Power Plant Mall, and more have announced their new mall hours for the duration of the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ), including some of the stores and services that will remain open.

SM Supermalls


SM Supermalls will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily during MECQ. Supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, computer stores, hardware stores, department stores, and selected essential retail stores will remain open. Selected restaurants will also be open to serve takeout and delivery orders. They remind the public that only those with quarantine passes are allowed to move around during the MECQ.

Ayala Malls

Ayala Malls has released a complete list of adjusted shortened operating hours for malls in Metro Manila, Laguna, Rizal, Cavite, and Bulacan. Most Ayala Malls will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but other places like Serendra, Bonifacio High Street, Harbor Point, and Marquee Mall will be open until 7 p.m. Check out their list for a more detailed schedule. "For everyone's safety, only customers with a quarantine pass aged 21-59 will be permitted to enter the malls. Present your quarantine pass and ID with birth date upon entry," they write in their Facebook note.


Power Plant Mall

Power Plant Mall announced that they will now be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. during MECQ. "Salon, barbershop, and dine-in services will not be available. Stores and restaurants will remain open for take-out and delivery," they write in their Facebook post. To see a complete list of services and stores that are open, check out their website.

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls


Megaworld Lifestyle Malls like Eastwood City, Uptown Bonifacio, Forbestown, McKinley Hill, and more have all adjusted their operating hours. Beginning August 4, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls will operated from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., but closing time may vary depending on the directives of the local government units.
