This Indoor Cycling Studio Now Offers Classes Outdoors

Face masks are required at all times.

(SPOT.ph) Spinning has been a popular form of exercise in the Metro the past few years, not only for its physical fitness benefits, but also for the fun of getting to experience the satisfyingly exhausting thrill of high-speed stationary cycling with a class, all while a trained coach guides you and keeps you motivated. Unfortunately, group and in-studio workouts haven't been possible amidst the pandemic and while several gyms and exercise studios have reopened, many of you may still not feel to comfortable about working out with strangers in an enclosed space. While exercising at home is still the safest possible option, we have good news for those who miss the excitement of a fitness class: Indoor cycling studio Ride Revolution is taking their classes outdoors and into the open air with Ride Outside!

Ride Revolution is now offering  in-person spinning sessions al fresco at Shangri-La Plaza’s Sky Garden, located on the mall’s sixth floor. That means you can enjoy all the benefits of a regular class without having to be cooped up in a small, enclosed space. Plus, all Ride Outside classes will be Ride Alongs, meaning you can bring a friend to join the class for free every time you sign up!

The open space allows for better ventilation and physical distancing among class-goers with bikes spaced at least two meters apart. Riders are also required to place their personal equipment near their stationery bike to facilitate contact minimization. Ride Revolution ensures that all bikes, weights, shoes, and high-touch surfaces in the venue undergo thorough disinfection before and after every class. Prior to a class, riders will be asked to register through a contactless check-in procedure and fill out a health declaration form. Temperature will be checked upon entry and those with body temperatures of 37.5 degrees Celsius and above will not be allowed to join the class. Face masks are required in all areas before, during, and after the ride.
