Need an Upgrade? This Slim, Lightweight Laptop Won't Break the Bank
Introducing realme's first-ever laptop, the realme Book.
(SPOT.ph) These days, we rely on our personal gadgets more than ever. More and more people are seeing the need to update their devices—whether it's phones, tablets, or computers—in order to keep up with the demands of the remote office setup, stay productive without hindrances, and work with the support of top-of-the-line technology. We wouldn't be surprised if, in the last year or so, you've considered upgrading your old laptop for something more state-of-the-art.
Now, we know that kind of a tech upgrade is no easy decision for most—laptops can easily fall in the upper five-digit price range and an investment like that requires a whole lot of budgeting, planning, saving up, and comparing options. In case you've been saving up for a new laptop or are just looking for one that won't break the bank, we found something you may want to check out: Introducing the realme Book, which was officially unveiled on September 23.
Everything You Need to Know About the realme Book
Launched alongside realme’s new GT Master Edition smartphone, the Book is the brand’s first-ever laptop. It has a 14-inch screen with a high-resolution 2,160 x 1,440 display, making it a great option for anyone who needs a fairly large screen, but still wants a travel-friendly device. In fact, the Book's slim design is perfect for anyone who constantly needs to bring their laptop from place to place. Measuring just 14.99 millimeters thick and weighing 1.38 kilograms, the device can easily be packed, carried, and transported with no fuss.
The realme Book is also equipped with Stereo Sound by DTS, promising crisp and clear audio for both video calls or streaming. Inside, the Book houses an 11th Gen Intel Core Processor—you can choose between the i3 variant with a 256 GB SSD storage or the i5, which has a 512 GB SSD storage. Both models have 8 GB RAM as well as a 54Wh battery that can run for up to 11 hours and supports fast-charging technology, promising up to 50% battery power in just 30 minutes of charging.
The realme Book i3 variant is available for P37,990 while the i5 is priced at P47,990. If you pre-order the laptop on Lazada, you can get the i3 for just P29,990 and the i5 for P41,990. Both models will be available at Silicon Valley stores starting October 1.
