(SPOT.ph) If you grew up in the 2000s, then Hobbes and Landes was probably one of your fave places to visit at the mall. The specialty store, which first opened in July 2002, was built out of a love for board games and other family-friendly activities. They also offer puzzles, toys, collectibles, crafting kits, and more. In the smartphone-saturated age we live in, the nearly 20-year-old shop feels almost like an artifact of the past. But in sad news for kids of the aughts, Hobbes and Landes is closing down their flagship store in Bonifacio High Street, BGC. Their last day of operation will be on January 31.

Hobbes and Landes to Close Flagship Store in BGC
Hobbes and Landes announced their upcoming closure on Facebook today, January 4. "It has become unfeasible for us to keep the business running in these difficult times," they said. They also thanked their customers for supporting them for nearly 20 years.Â
You can still shop at Hobbes and Landes BGC until its closing day at the end of January and gift certificates will still be accepted in-store till then. According to their website, they currently have three branches in Metro Manila (aside from their flagship store) at Power Plant Mall, Greenbelt 5, and Shangri-La Plaza. You can also shop Hobbes and Landes online through their website as well as their official Shopee and Lazada pages.
