(SPOT.ph) Don’t Blame the Kids is a brand that comes up when people talk about local streetwear and urban clothing. H&M, on the other hand, is known for its wide range of elevated and sophisticated silhouettes. Combine the two together and you have the best of both worlds, and a collaboration we never knew we needed. We’re sure you’ve seen the rage on both brands’ socials thanks to their collab. Yup, the two are unveiling six limited and exclusive designs in time for the Swedish clothing brand’s reopening in SM Makati. You’re excited, we’re excited, everybody’s excited, don't blame us—pun intended—for wanting to cop one the moment the capsule collection popped up behind the store windows. Look at it: They're just fire.

H&M teams up with DBTK for the first time ever in a capsule collection
Yep, you read that right. This is, in fact, H&M’s first Filipino-designed collection. ICYDK, DBTK (wow, that’s a lot of acronyms) is a homegrown brand and the brainchild of brothers Emil and Vince Javier as their “way to reach out to the kids of the future while incorporating their interest in street fashion”. Their quality takes on casual wear—shirts, hoodies, headwear, accessories—have grown quite a number of loyal patrons since they first set up shop in 2014. You can catch a glimpse of the designs on display at the H&M store in Makati City, just note that it officially drops on September 8. You may want to start planning accordingly if you want to be able to cop a piece before limited stocks run out.
With the theme, “The World Is My Home,” the collaboration has six “fun and surrealistically urban pieces inspired by the abode.” We spotted hoodies, and joggers, and more, all perfect for snuggling on a cold and rainy day; and, in true DBTK fashion, the casual and comfortable pieces are peppered with unique, playful, and yet straightforward illustrations.
The capsule collection will be exclusively available at H&M stores in SM Megamall, SM Makati, Robinsons Manila, SM North Edsa, SM Mall of Asia, Festival Mall Alabang, SM City Clark Pampanga, and Ayala Center Cebu.
In case you want to see the pieces in the flesh before the drop, head on to SM Makati.
