Back for its second run, MUNI Market Day V2.0 is set to happen on October 25 and November 8, 9 a.m. at Capitol Commons. MUNI Market Day v2.0 is a continuing effort to bring together a creative community and create a culture of conscious consumption and mindful living.



MUNI will be showcasing over 40 merchants to cater to the increasing number of conscious consumers who want to live a little more meaningfully every day. Some of the market's mindful merchants include vegetarian food options like Pipino Vegetarian, Kitchen Revolution, Edgy Veggy, beverage brands like Stanford & Shaw, KKK Coffee, Moonleaf Tea Shop, Joost2Boost and Tsaa Laya, and healthy or local snack choices like Nipa Foods, Take Root, Theo & Philo, and more.

Polecats Manila will be tripping the light for its fifth anniversary show. With live music, lights, dance, and aerial arts on display, the group promises a veritable feast for the eyes with this year's theme: PRISM: Expressions of Light and Flight. To be held on October 26, 7 p.m. at Whitespace Manila, PRISM highlights the group's exploration of pole dancing, aerial silks, and aerial hoop acts as both art and sport. Each dance will feature visualizations by Vitamin See and live music by electronic music duo Tarsius.


Formed in 2009, Polecats Manila continues to push limits as one of the premier pole dancing schools in the country. Beyond being a group that shares a common passion, Polecats Manila is a movement advocating strength, grace, and art in pursuit of the extraordinary.

Book your tickets to Romeo and Juliet - The Musical, onstage this weekend from October 23 to 25 at the Star Theater. Showtimes are at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m.


This staging of Romeo and Juliet portrays one of Shakespeare’s most famous works in a more accessible manner for young adults. In the play, dialogues are sung with full observance of how phrases are being read.

He was hailed as one of the 20 best American writers by The New Yorker magazine for his second novel A Gesture Life. His novel Aloft, earned him the Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature in the Adult Fiction category in 2006.

Run through a course of horrible incidents at Bloodrush: Aftershock, happening on October 26, 6 p.m. at the UP Diliman Academic Oval. A 9.8 magnitude earthquake has just hit the campus and you have to reach the safe zone; but proceed with caution, as the course is filled with horrible incidents. As with all disasters, time is not on your side.
